Organized by the Municipality of Verona and the University of Verona

On the occasion of the 1500th anniversary of the death of Theoderic the Great (454–526), King of the Ostrogoths and a key figure in Roman-barbarian history, the Municipality of Verona, together with the Departments of Cultures and Civilizations, Foreign Languages and Literatures, and Law of the University of Verona, presents a series of public events devoted to the Gothic king, establishing a programme of initiatives designed to promote awareness of the places and traditions that connect him with the city of Verona.
